During our Liverpool trip on Thursday, I saw some really interesting ways of displaying and setting up an art space!
One of the ideas what I thought was really good was printing quotes on one of the walls of the exhibition like this: (maybe we could do the same with a short intro essay?)
I thought this was a really good way of connecting with the audience. Plus it would communicate nicely with the artwork that is being displayed.
This is another image I took where information has been placed on the wall of an exhibition:
One of the things that did stand out to me when looking at this was the way it has been lit up. They had a small light just beneath shining on the piece of text. This is a good way of showing importance!
Plus, next to each of the artworks was like a wooden plaque with the artists name and statement on it which gave a really nice professional look.
