Talk about our groups and Curating Modual

Today we have been introduced to what we have to put in our catalogue.
The catalogue has to be word processed and shouldnt exceed 1,000 words!
When we are doing our exhibition we need to think about how we will get feedback from the viewers so that we can place it in the catalogue.
Anna mentioned that a good way to start a catalogue off is with an essay saying what our intentions were from the start etc.
Also we have to make sure that we photograph our exhibition on the way along as documentation. When taking the photos it was suggested to use a tripod to make sure that the pictures arnt blurey. Plus we need to take quite a few photos cause we can easily delete the ones we dont want!

Anna passed around a few catalogues that have been made previously to give us some ideas for our own catalogue.
Here are a few catalogue ideas:

- Make sure we use various sized images to keep the reader interested.
- Think of the font styles (dont have large blocks of writing, seperate with images)
- Maybe include designs and pages from scetchbook (sketches that backs up main image)
- Maybe plot where the artwork will be in the spaces
- Could add a dvd of the process of making
- Maybe create a poster in your catalogue
- Could add a map where the exhibition is
- Put quotes next to the images
- Make sure there is a project summary
- Maybe make a pocket to put the catalogue
- Think of the size of the catalogue
- Maybe put writing over images

We were also put into our groups and talked about what rules we need to keep in order to work as a team, we came up with these:
